Ruby Fellow Hired!

At the end of 2015, Matz announced that Ruby 3 will have a focus on performance (a.k.a Ruby 3x3). We welcomed this news and wanted to help.

Today, we are happy to announce that we have hired Noah Gibbs (@codefolio) to work full-time on Ruby performance. Noah has a strong background in C / C++ and low-level programming. He is also no stranger to the Ruby / Rails worlds having worked on a number of large scale Rails applications, presented at conferences / meet-ups, and even written a book on the Rails

We are thrilled to have Noah join "the many performance wonks in the community who work tirelessly to make everything faster."
